This page describes how the https://www.lagiovane.eu website is managed, with reference to the processing of the personal data of the users navigating it. Such information is provided pursuant to Art. 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 – European Data Protection Regulation – GDPR.

National and European personal data protection regulations provide for the protection of users with regard to the processing of their information. Such processing must be based on the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency and protection of the confidentiality and rights of the people concerned. . La Giovane S.C.p.A. is committed to treat and store the personal data provided and collected through its website with the utmost confidentiality, care and diligence, in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Types of data processed

Personal data will be collected as follows:

– by receiving email messages that are voluntarily sent by users and addressed to email addresses specified on the website ;

– by receiving reports sent voluntarily by users and addressed to the Supervisory Board’s email address published on the website pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 231/01 ;

– by receiving the forms available in the “Information”, “Contact us” and “Work with us” sections. All information sent in applications for job postings may occasionally include, by initiative of the senders, personal data classified as “special” by law, i.e. information relating to confidential aspects of private life, such as your health status in the case of protected categories of workers. For this type of data, higher levels of protection will be applied as required by the relevant legislation.

Other data, which cannot be associated with the identity of the user, will be collected by the applications through which the website operates during navigation. This category of information includes, for example, sections of the IP address, domain names and type of browser used by the user, date and time of queries, and other parameters concerning the operating system and IT environment of the user. This data will only be collected to enable a proper operation of the website and will does not, in any case, enable knowledge of the user’s personal data. Such data are therefore to be considered as anonymous data.

Purpose and legal grounds of data processing

The personal data voluntarily provided by visitors to the website by sending emails are obtained, stored and used by La Giovane S.C.p.A. exclusively to manage the queries expressed by the senders.

Personal data acquired through messages reporting unlawful conduct pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 231/01 will be received and processed solely by the members of the Supervisory Board pursuant to LD 231. At all stages of processing, the confidentiality of information and the protection of the identity of the whistleblower and of any other people involved is guaranteed.

The legal basis for the processing of all data collected via the forms available on the website is the express consent of the data subject, whereas, as regards to the data contained in emails, it is the legitimate interest of the owner.

Processing and transfer of data

Data processing related to the management of www.lagiovane.eu website will take place at the Data Controller’s premises and will be carried out by specifically authorised personnel.

Data are processed in electronic and paper format, in compliance with applicable data protection regulations. Appropriate security measures are in place to prevent loss, misuse and unauthorised access of data.

La Giovane S.C.p.A. will not transfer the data obtained to third parties, unless that is strictly necessary based on the requests/purposes specified by the senders. In such instance, the data will be transferred to parties that will act as as data processors, i.e. companies/firms providing support and consultancy to the Data Controller in relation to the administration and the provision of services, as well as and other parties with whom it will be necessary to interact for the technical management of the media (website hosting providers, network and IT equipment maintenance personnel).

Personal data will not be disseminated in any way.

Data Retentionv

The data processing will last no longer than what is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data were collected or provided by the users. However, data subjects may at any time request data processing to be interrupted and/or their data be cancelled.

Nature of conferment and refusal

Except for what specified for navigation data, the user will voluntarily provide personal data any time they send an email to the addresses available on the website. Failure to submit personal data may result in the impossibility of obtaining any services and/or information requested.

Rights of data subjects

Data subjects to whom the personal data refer, pursuant to Articles 15-22 of EU Regulation 2016/679, have the right to obtain at any time a confirmation of the existence or non-existence of such data at the Data Controller’s – La Giovane S.C.p.A. -, to know their content and origin, to verify their accuracy or request their integration, deletion, editing, restriction if the processing violates the law, as well as the right of opposing to their processing for legitimate reasons.

In any case, data subjects will have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant Privacy Authority pursuant to Article 77 of the EU Regulation if they consider that the processing of their data is breaching any applicable regulations.
