The new automated warehouse at La Giovane’s headquarters has been completed and is now fully operational.
Developed to make accessories warehouse management even more efficient, the new system can accommodate up to 40,000 bins. Thanks to 18 RS8 Roboshuttles, 52 P40 robots and 6 picking stations equipped with Pick2Light technology, inbound handling, storage, order preparation and packaging activities can be managed quickly, accurately and with complete traceability.
The system is integrated with the Warehouse Management System, allowing inventory levels, container locations and robot movements to be monitored in real time while dynamically optimising storage space and operational flows.
With the new system now operating at full capacity, La Giovane takes another important step forward in its innovation journey, investing in technologies that improve work organisation and the quality of service provided to customers.
